Assurance in Craftsmanship

At Rugged Design Concepts, every product is more than a part, it is an investment in craftsmanship. Each piece is engineered with intent, built to endure, and designed to elevate. Our warranty is not a safety net, it is a reflection of our confidence in the products we create.

Coverage

  • Rugged Design Concepts warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and conditions:
  • Roof Racks, Ladders, Side Steps, Bumpers, Crossbars, SkyGrips, Skyliners — 5-Year Limited Warranty
  • Powder Coat Finish — 1-Year Limited Warranty (against abnormal rusting, peeling or flaking)
  • This warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Exclusions

Our products are built to withstand rugged use, but this warranty does not extend to:

  • Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic blemishes, scratches, fading, or dings.

  • Damage caused by accidents, impacts, misuse, or use outside intended design.

  • Modifications or alterations performed outside of Rugged Design Concepts.

  • Environmental exposure such as chemicals, salt, or corrosive conditions.

  • Third-party products, accessories, or electronics not purchased through Rugged Design Concepts.

  • Custom or bespoke commissions, which are final sale.

  • Damage resulting from accidents, collisions, rollovers, or use beyond normal on- and off-road conditions. Rugged Design Concepts products are built to endure the harshest environments, but this warranty does not extend to incidents arising from extreme use, competition, or negligent operation.

Customer Responsibility

To preserve warranty protection, the customer must:

  • Provide proof of original purchase.

  • Ensure professional installation (by RDC or an approved installer).

  • Perform basic care, including rinsing after salt or corrosive exposure.

  • Warranty coverage applies only to products purchased directly from Rugged Design Concepts or from an authorized reseller or builder. In such cases, all claims must be coordinated through the original point of purchase.

Failure to meet these responsibilities voids coverage.

Warranty Claims

To initiate a claim, please contact orders@ruggeddesignconcepts.com with:

  1. Proof of purchase.

  2. Detailed description of the issue.

  3. Photographs of the product.

At Rugged Design Concepts’ sole discretion, the remedy may be: repair, replacement, or credit. Customers are responsible for shipping unless the claim is confirmed as a verified manufacturing defect.

Limitations

  • Coverage is limited to the cost of the original product.

  • Rugged Design Concepts is not liable for incidental or consequential damages such as vehicle downtime, loss of use, or installation costs.

  • This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state.

Our Commitment

Few will ever need this warranty. Each Rugged Design Concepts product is built to outlast trends, endure the elements, and uphold the reputation of the name it bears. This is not a promise of coverage — it is a statement of confidence in craftsmanship.
