Nationwide & International Shipping

We proudly ship throughout the United States and Canada. While Canada is our primary international market, we will make every effort to accommodate deliveries to other countries upon request.

Our trusted carriers include FedEx and Estes Freight, chosen at the time of dispatch to secure the most cost-effective rate without compromising service. Expedited shipping may be available if supported by the carrier.

We deliver to both residential and commercial addresses. Please specify if your delivery location has a loading dock or forklift, as this ensures accurate quoting and smooth delivery.

Shipping Costs & Quotes

Every product is shipped as a fully assembled, one-piece structure. Because of this, costs vary according to weight, dimensions, and destination.

• Custom Quotes: Shipping is not calculated at checkout; clients receive a tailored shipping quote.
• Liftgate Service: If a forklift or loading dock is unavailable, liftgate service is included in your shipping price.
• Free Shipping: Due to the nature of our products, free shipping is not offered.

Lead Times & Processing

Processing: Once a product returns from powder coat, it is prepared for shipment within 1–2 business days.

• Lead Times: Vary by product — roof racks, ladders, and bumpers each have unique timelines.
• Notifications: Clients are notified by phone and email the day before shipment. Tracking numbers are provided once the carrier collects the order.

Freight & Large Item Delivery

All RDC shipments are transported via LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight, ensuring safe handling of our fully assembled, palletized products.

• Packaging: Each order is secured on a heavy-duty wooden skid pallet. For clients who prefer added protection, enclosed crating is available at an additional cost.
• Assembly: Every RDC product ships fully assembled — no compromise in craftsmanship, no on-site assembly required.
• Delivery Experience: Carriers may provide a call-ahead notification and complete a curbside drop-off.
• Signature Required: The client, or an authorized representative, must be present to sign for delivery.

Packaging & Protection

Every order is prepared to withstand the journey:

• Heavy-duty pallet base
• Foam and stretch-wrap protection
• Hardware and unboxing instructions included inside
• Insurance: Shipments are insured by default. Clients may decline this additional coverage at their discretion.

Damages, Losses & Claims

Damaged Deliveries: Photograph the shipment before removing it from the pallet or packaging. All damage must be reported the same day.

• Claims: RDC files the claim directly with the carrier.
• Lost Shipments: If an order is lost in transit, RDC will replace it. If the original shipment is later recovered and delivered, the client is responsible for arranging and covering the return of the duplicate shipment to RDC.

Returns & Exchanges

• Change of Mind: Clients cover return shipping.
• Incorrect Item: RDC immediately ships the correct item and covers return shipping of the incorrect one.
• Refunds: Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Special Considerations

• PO Boxes & APO/FPO: We do not ship to these addresses.
• Remote Deliveries: Surcharges from carriers for rural areas are invoiced to the client after delivery.
• Local Pickup: Available at our facility.
• Customs & Duties: International clients are responsible for taxes, duties, and brokerage fees.
• Direct Delivery: On select occasions, RDC arranges personal delivery within a 4-hour radius of our facility to bypass freight costs.

Communication & Updates

• Pre-Shipment: Clients receive both a phone call and an email the day before dispatch.
• Tracking: Tracking details are provided once the carrier collects the order.
• Delivery Windows: RDC provides the carrier’s estimated delivery window, but final arrival times remain the responsibility of the carrier.
